The Campaign Life Coalition and Ontario’s Progressive Conservative Party Leadership Race

I don’t mean to get mixed up in party politics or take sides or anything, but for anyone interested in life issues and the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party’s (PCP) leadership race, Joseph Ben-Ami has an interesting take on the Campaign Life Coalition’s (CLC) process for scoring candidates, questioning whether they are assessing ideological purity or performance. Now, he’s involved in the middle of this, endorsing the candidate whom the CLC didn’t score as well, so I take it with a grain of salt, but he’s up-front with that disclosure.

I don’t know enough about the PCP or the CLC to actually weigh in on the matter, but I just thought I’d highlight the debate for anyone who’s interested in these issues.
