University of Guelph joins the censorship club

Life Choice, the campus prolife club, was denied club status by the CSA Board of Directors on October 1st. They were not warned beforehand, nor were any concerns about the club raised with its executives prior to this decision.

Life Choice is committed to proclaiming, celebrating and defending the dignity of all human beings from conception to natural death by educating people about prolife issues. They represent a viewpoint that is little represented on this campus, and that is necessary to allow for true freedom of choice.

The club is appealing this decision at the Wednesday, October 29th CSA Board of Directors meeting. These meetings are open to the public, so feel free to attend. It will be at 6pm in the Eccles Centre (attached to Maritime in South Residence).

I’m starting to feel thankful for our pro-choicers at UofT.
